Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the 21 Portfolios website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Services

21 Portfolios provides web design, UI/UX design, brand design, and site maintenance services. All project work is governed by individual client agreements executed through the Client Portal, which supplement these general terms.

Client obligations

• You must provide accurate information when submitting project proposals or filling in the Client Portal
• You are responsible for providing assets, copy, and feedback in a timely manner
• You must not use our services for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you own the final deliverables (website files, brand assets) created specifically for your project. 21 Portfolios retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing. All tools, frameworks, templates, and reusable code components remain the property of 21 Portfolios.

Payments and refunds

A 50% deposit is required before work begins, held in escrow and released upon project completion and your approval. The remaining balance is due upon delivery. Maintenance subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for maintenance are not provided for partially used months.

Limitation of liability

21 Portfolios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

Website availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or issues caused by third-party services.

Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. If you terminate before completion, payment for work already completed is non-refundable. 21 Portfolios reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Scottish courts.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
